New York is very expensive, but a recent survey found that Honolulu is
the most expensive U.S. city for tourists (average of $673 a day for
food and lodging for 2). New York came in second at $606, followed by
Miami, San Diego, and Las Vegas.

I believe there are cities in Europe and Asia that are even more
expensive (possibly London and Tokyo, for example), although I don't
have a link for that.
