I am always parnoid when I see property or holiday rentals adverstised
on craigslist, especially usenet. There is no guarantee that once a
deposit has been given that what you expect is what you receive, if that
even. There is no recourse, even when paying by credit card if the ad is
actually a scam and your vacation can potentionally turn into a
nightmare because the accomodation you booked doesn't exist or is not
what is advertised.
