The usual thing would be to head west from Calgary and see Banff,
Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho National Parks which are next to each other
for the excellent Canadian Rockies. If time permits, head south for
Watertown Lakes NP and adjacent Glacier NP in Montana, or head west
into British Columbia for more national and provincial parks, and
possibly all the way to the coast for a nice city, Vancouver, but
better for another trip. As previously mentioned, to the NE from
Calgary, Drumheller for the dinosaur fossil beds. You won't run out
of excellent things to see and do.
