We toured NFLD, NS and PEI summer 2007. We had great weather and
enjoyed it very much. Gros Morne is well worth the visit. As for
towns, St. John's is about it ,-)
If you like remote places and watching whales from "terra firma" (and
don't mind spending some extra $$) you might also like Quirpon Island
(north of St. Anthony). If I recall correctly maximum number of people
who can stay on the island is about 20, when we were there we arrived
with 7 people, 2 went back the next morning so we had the whole island
between us and 2 American ladies.
