I do like it that they have single-night rates, and have a kitchen
with amenities provided. I've stayed in one before (near Phoenix) and
the rate was rather reasonable, although my company picked up the
tab. I was about to leave but my company held me from going home one
more day.
I'm not sure the extended-stay rates are going to work well for the
original poster given the nature of auto touring rarely means staying
a week at the same location. They're primarily designed for people
traveling on business, and working for a week or two. They also seem
to be for people who are visiting for extended periods but who can't
stay as a houseguest for various reasons.
