On my commute, I counted how many vehicles I passed, and how many passed me. I counted on the two-lanes-in-each-direction section between Exit 24 and Exit 40, a total of 32 miles of 70mph-limit freeway. (16 miles in each direction) Of the vehicles encountered on the trips in each direction, I passed 76%. 24% passed me. My cruise was set to 71mph.
